In November 2012, the General Services Administration (GSA) announced a search for real estate consultants to seek suitable locations to move the FBI’s headquarters from 935 Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest Washington to a more suburban location, including several in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. Numerous locations have been mentioned for the federal law enforcement agency, according to a recent article in the Washington Business Journal. A win like this probably takes good advocacy on the part of the County's Congressional representative. Unfortunately - thanks to Governor O-Malley, Montgomery County is represented by four members of Congress, who's districts sprawl all over Maryland like Rohrshach blots - including my representative, who also represents my neighbors in Allegany County.
