The restaurant announced in a Facebook post that its 90th year will also be its last.

O'Donnell's Sea Grill—currently celebrating its 90th year in the DC-metropolitan area—announced on its Facebook page this year will also be its last: Dear Friend/Customer of O’Donnell’s Sea Grill: We have proudly been serving the Washington D.C. metropolitan area for 90 years – and are celebrating our anniversary this year with joy and excitement. It is in this same year, that we have made the purposeful decision to officially close our doors and exit on a most high note.  The restaurant has not announced an official closing date, according to The Town Courier. The Gaithersburg Marriott's newest addition is ready for customers. The Bench — a kitchen, lounge and lakeside patio — opened this week, completing one phase of the hotel's major upgrades. The store has been in business for many, many years and has top-notch deli -- the best corned beef and pastrami south of New York. With all the hoopla about new dining coming to Gaithersburg's Crown development, one restaurant is slated to make its debut in April across the street in Washingtonian Center. The Bench — a kitchen, lounge and lakeside patio — will be part of the new Greatroom at the Gaithersburg Marriott, located at 9751 Washingtonian Blvd. The restaurant's menu has been developed over the past three months by Executive Chef Aaron Tootill, according to a news release. Montgomery County Struggles Among Post's Top 40 Picks For DC Diners

Montgomery County wasn't as well represented as last year in the list of essential dining for Washingtonians.

  The fried potato tots at Bethesda's Food, Wine & Co made The Washington Post's list of "40 dishes Washingtonians shouldn't live without in 2013," released Thursday. Post editors taste tested dishes at restaurants throughout the DC region to develop the list, sifting through hundreds of reader nominations. Along with Food, Wine & Co's famous tots, the fried chicken with spiced salt and basil at Rockville's Jumbo Jumbo Cafe and the Mongolian beef with cumin at Joe's Noodle House, also in Rockvile, both made the list.
