Police Seek Man For Questioning In Whetstone Apartment Slaying
Montgomery County police released a composite sketch Monday of a man they say could be connected to a Dec. 3 fatal stabbing in Gaithersburg.
Montgomery County police are seeking help from the public in identifying a person of interest in the Dec. 3, 2012, fatal stabbing of 45-year-old Cesar Smith in Gaithersburg's Whetstone apartment complex. Police released a composite image Monday afternoon of a man who was "seen in the vicinity of the crime." Detectives said they need to identify him and speak with him regarding the incident. Investigators say the crime was not random and that the victim and suspects may have had some association, but they cannot confirm that relationship.
