Three men in their early 20s were charged with strong arm robbery in a July 13 incident near Victory Farm Road and Saybrooke Oaks Boulevard.
Detectives from the Gaithersburg Police Investigative Section have charged three men in their 20s in a July 13 robbery of a man on foot near Victory Farm Road and Saybrooke Oaks Boulevard, according to a news release. Jean Marcel Bai, 24, of North Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg, Tidiane Bamba, 23, of no fixed address, and Yekeh Pratt, 22, of North Summit Avenue were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, second degree assault, conspiracy to commit second degree assault, theft less than $1,000 and conspiracy to commit theft less than $1,000. Bai and Bamba were held at the Montgomery County Detention Center, according to the city. Pratt was released on a $25,000 bond. A victim told police that at 11:30 p.m. July 13 he was …

The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg: An armed robbery occurred behind Gaithersburg Elementary School, located at 35 North Summit Avenue, on Sunday, July 1 between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. An armed robbery occurred at McDonalds, located at 18273 Flower Hill Way on Saturday, June 30, just before 7 p.m. A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 18700 block of Blue Violet Lane on Tuesday, June 26 around 5:30 p.m. An aggravated assault occurred in the 8800 block of Cross Country Place on Monday, July 2. A 17-year-old and a 22-year-old were arrested and charged in a robbery Sunday, June 24 in Gaithersburg.
Two young women were arrested and charged with strong arm robbery Sunday night in Gaithersburg. Shortly after 9 p.m., the victim was approached by known suspects, a 17-year-old Gaithersburg girl and 22-year-old Jessica Yamileth Delgado Castellanos, no fixed address, in the 800 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard, according to police. The suspects engaged the victim in a verbal argument which escalated into a physical altercation, Gaithersburg police said. The suspects then took property from the victim and fled. Police said the victim did not require medical attention.
