Police believe getaway on this abduction & robbery in Wheaton Giant Food Store was via Metro subway. So much for the 'Grand (theft) amenities' of our County transit system. Hummm! What's the seeming appropo saying.... "Build it and they will come"! Yep, rapid transit for 'thugs'!

Proper exercise, fresh air, good nutrition begin with OUR CHILDREN. Yet, MVF has gone silent regarding NEED for playground @ Lake Whetstone for our forgotten generation @ this 'on-the-wrong-side-of-the-tracks' area of the Village. I have referred to Lake Whetstone as 'Retirement Village'. It appears the entire Village is being geared towards 'we' old farts with children 'being phased out of the overall picture'/scheme of things (plans). Shame, MVF! No pun intended (hummm!) but.... "You can RUN but you can not hide" from this playground issue. And such would not cost 1/3 or 1/2 of what you are contemplating providing for the older geezers. I am one of those & I am willing to give up your expensive plan (or tone it down in budget area) for 'adult fitness program' for the sake of the Village kids!!!
