Accomplished artist Vian Borchert will be teaching an ONSITE and In-person Watercolor Painting art class this Spring starting on Monday April 29 till June 10&nbsp;at Glen Echo Park's Yellow Barn Studio. The class is on Monday mornings form 9:30AM till 12PM at The Yellow Barn Studio which is located at Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, Maryland.

The class is designed for both beginning and intermediates along with continuing students to explore traditional watercolor and experimental watercolor techniques. Color theory and composition are emphasized through images based on still life and landscapes. 
The Watercolor class starts on April 29 and runs for 6 sessions till June 10, 2024. Learn the ABC’s of watercolor painting from a master artist and a “Notable Alumni” from Corcoran College of Art &amp; Design George Washington University and art educator in the DMV area for over 17 years. In this class, you will learn about color theory, mixing colors to applying layers and glazes to create beautiful effects utilizing this fun translucent watercolor medium. Demos will be demonstrated by the instructor to help guide the students along this learning journey. Watercolor is the most fun of all painting mediums where you use water as the main element along with the watercolor paint tubes / pigments. Come along on this painterly experience and learn the skills needed to create a watercolor painting.

Esteemed artist, Vian Borchert, will be teaching a Drawing art class at Glen Echo Park via The Yellow Barn Studio. The Spring class starts in early May and is for beginners, intermediates and continuing students.
The drawing art class by noted artist Vian Borchert will be ONSITE and is in-person. The class starts on Friday May 3 and runs till June 7, 2024 for 6 sessions. The class is on Friday mornings form 9:30AM till 12PM.

Throughout&nbsp;the class, the students will learn the ABC’s of drawing from master artist, Borchert, who has been an art educator of over 17 years.
