12-Year-Old Girl Found in Prince George's

Ana Garcia had been missing since Friday.

UPDATE: The 12-year-old girl who went missing last week was found "safe and unharmed" this morning in Prince George's County.

Ana Garcia had been missing since Friday afternoon, when she was seen getting off of a school bus a few blocks from her home in the 17800 block of Washington Grove Lane, outside Gaithersburg.

Police offered no further details.

"Typically we don’t release that [because of] privacy on the part of the family," said Lucille Baur, a Montgomery County police spokeswoman.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police are asking for your help in locating 12-year-old Ana Garcia, who went missing on April 1.

Garcia, 12, was last seen getting off a school bus around 3 p.m. in the area of Spiceberry Lane. She lives in the 17800 block of Washington Grove Lane.

"Ana is described as a Hispanic female, 4'8" tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair. She wears glasses with dark-colored, rectangular frames," according to police.
