Blog Writer Needed!

Are you someone with their ears to the ground in Western Maryland? Enthusiastic and in-the-know about what's happening in and around Western Maryland? Familiar with activities in Western Maryland, as well as updates on festivals, restaurants, shopping, events, fun local businesses in the greater Maryland/DC area? Do you have exceptional grammar and communication skills? Then we're looking for you!

We're on the hunt for a local freelance writer who can contribute to a regional lifestyle blog about life in Maryland (with an emphasis on the Gaithersburg area). Experience with interior design or lifestyle blogging is a plus.

The initial assignment is for a series of 3-4 posts, with the possibility of becoming an ongoing contributor. Writers with their own blogs are preferred. Please respond to this ad with links to any writing samples, link to your blog (if you have one) and answers to the following:

1. What topics do you prefer to write?
2. What are your three favorite restaurants in Gaithersburg and why?
3. Briefly give a description of the Gaithersburg area.
4. Where have you contributed before?
