The Universities at Shady Grove's Summer 2014 Open House Will Showcase Nine Universities and 80+ Degree Programs

On Saturday, July 19, from 9:00 a.m.-noon prospective students and families are invited to attend The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) Summer 2014 Open House. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the 80+ bachelor and graduate degrees and certificate programs offered at USG. They will be able to meet with representatives from USG’s nine partner universities to learn about admission requirements, transfer of previous credits, career tracks, financial aid, and more.

Current high school students and their families are invited to attend a 30-minute session to learn why USG is a smart and cost-effective choice to complete a bachelor's degree after earning your associate’s degree from Montgomery College (MC). The session will include information on how USG works, the benefits of attending a program housed on our campus, and how to be a part of the "MC-USG Degree Connection" pathway.

Student Ambassadors will be on hand to speak about the personalized student experience at USG. The open house will also feature tours of the state-of-the-art campus, including the award-winning, “green” Camille Kendall Academic Center.  Select programs will offer fee waivers to those who apply for admission during the event.
