Free Walk-In Summer Lunch Programs Available to Children

Kids can get a healthy lunch this summer at Gaithersburg Elementary School.

From a news release:

The Montgomery County Public Schools Division of Food and Nutrition Services is providing free meals to children and teens during the summer months.

Children 18 and younger may go to any of the eight designated MCPS school locations, Monday through Friday, to receive a healthy and nutritious lunch. No appointment is necessary, but the meal must be eaten on location.

In Gaithersburg, lunch will be served at Gaithersburg Elementary School, 35 N. Summit Ave., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Aug. 15.
