Kentlands' Oktoberfest Back for 21st Year

German entertainment, beer and new activities highlight the event.

In keeping with seasonal tradition, Kentlands will turn German once more.

The 21st annual Oktoberfest at the Kentlands, presented by the city of Gaithersburg and Kentlands Citizens Assembly, returns Sunday, Oct. 14 from noon to 4 p.m. in Kentlands Village Green.

The festival will feature German entertainment, beer and new activities including horse-drawn wagon rides, pumpkin painting, and wine-tasting, according to the city. Festival goers can enjoy authentic Bavarian food and beer and lively performances by the Alte Kameraden German Band and Alt-Washingtonia Bavarian dancers.
