Music at the Mansion

Kentlands Mansion presents an evening of joyous choir music. The second concert in the Music at the Mansion series takes place on Saturday, December 17 with Psallite! Joyous Early Music for the Season.  Chamber choirs Carmina and Illuminare bring us jubilant songs of the season from the Middle Ages through the Baroque. Carmina, known for its gorgeous tonal balance, is devoted to exploring the diverse musical styles of early music.  Illuminare, Carmina’s women’s ensemble, was founded to illuminate exceptional vocal music of past centuries and focuses on early vocal repertoire composed or arranged for women’s voices.
