Montgomery College Crunch Time

This week MC Rockville will be presenting news on the 2011 fiscal year operating budget, and a family-friendly play 'Barrio Grrrl!'

It’s 2011, and that means a new year of classes, events and education at Montgomery College.  Winter session classes are in full swing, and Spring semester classes start on Monday, January 24.

Other than faculty and staff events on campus, this weekend Rockville campus will be hosting a children’s book series "Barrio Grrrl!" by Pulitzer Prize winner Quiara Alegria Hudes.

The budget update presentation information can be found at the MC budget department’s web page.  Files are available for reading in PDF format and detail the past year’s budgets along with the new 2011 operating budget revisions.  This information shows where and how Montgomery College’s money will be spent this fiscal year.  Students, this is great information to understand where your tuition costs and additional class fees are going in the community.
