Vehicle Crashes Into Sam's Club in Gaithersburg

Fire spokesman: Two men suffered life-threatening injuries.

Three people were hurt—with two suffering life-threatening injuries—when a vehicle crashed into the Sam’s Club store in Gaithersburg Tuesday afternoon.

County police received a call at 12:57 p.m. about the incident at the store, at 610 N. Frederick Ave., said Angela Cruz, a Montgomery County police spokeswoman.

Two men—a 70-year-old and a 33-year-old—were taken to local trauma centers with serious, life-threatening injuries, Assistant Chief Scott Graham, a county fire and rescue service spokesman, said on Twitter.
