Adventist Signs Lease For Primary Care Facility in Clarksburg

Medical facility expected to open by fall 2014 at Clarksburg Village Center.

Adventist HealthCare has signed a lease for a primary care facility at Clarksburg Village Center, the company announced in a news release Monday.

The Clarksburg site is expected to open in fall 2014. In addition to primary care, the site is expected to include pediatric, obstetrics and gynecology and outpatient rehabilitation services, according to Adventist.

Clarksburg Village Center is a retail center off Snowden Farm Parkway and Newcut Road. A Harris Teeter expected to open in November will anchor Clarksburg Village Center.

Based in Gaithersburg, Adventist HealthCare has an emergency and an oncology centers in Germantown and Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville.

Adventist lost its bid to build a hospital in Germantown, where Holy Cross Hospital plans to open a 237,000-foot hospital by 2014, The Gazette reports.
