Five things to help you through your Tuesday.

1. High temperatures are in store for Tuesday, with temperatures reaching a scorching 98 degrees—a near record high in Gaithersburg—during the afternoon. There is a 10 percent chance of precipitation and the low temperature is 76 degrees. Be sure to stay cool and drink lots of water.

2. Registration is now open for Fall Youth and Teen Sports Programs in the City of Gaithersburg. Fall offerings include cross country, ultimate football and flag football, volleyball, and soccer. For more information, visit the City of Gaithersburg website.
