Traffic Lights Out of Synch

About a quarter of the County's lights are not changing at the programmed times.

About 200 traffic lights around the County—especially in the Gaithersburg, Rockville, Germantown, Damascus and Derwood areas—are out of synchronization, WTOP is reporting.

That represents about a quarter of the lights in the county.

They are turning red, yellow and green as they are supposed to, but not in coordination with the other lights around them, officials said.
