Obits: MCPS Teacher, Gaithersburg Resident Dies
Jacqui B. Phillips, a Gaithersburg resident and high school teacher in Silver Spring, died, The Washington Post reported.
Longtime Montgomery County Public Schools teacher and Gaithersburg resident Jacqui B. Phillips died March 19 at Montgomery Hospice’s Casey House in Rockville, The Washington Post reported.
Phillips, 48, taught at Wheaton High School in Silver Spring starting in the early 2000s, according to the report. She previously taught at the private Chelsea School in Silver Spring and was a student teacher at Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville.
This year, she was voted “most inspirational teacher” by Wheaton High students, her husband said, according to the report.
