Crash Snarls Traffic on I-270
Six people taken to the hospital, two with serious injuries.
A multi-vehicle crash on I-270 this evening sent six people to the hospital and snarled traffic, authorities said.
Assistant Chief Scott Graham, a spokesman for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said he did not know how many vehicles were involved, but traffic on northbound I-270 was severely slowed.
Two of the patients were transported with traumatic but non-life-threatening injuries, Graham said. The other four were taken for treatment of minor injuries.

The crash happened near the Middlebrook Road exit.
