Gaithersburg SunTrust Robbed

Do you recognize the man in these photos?

A SunTrust Bank inside of a Gaithersburg grocery store was robbed Monday, Montgomery County police said Wednesday.

Police said the robbery happened at around 6:30 p.m. at a bank branch inside the Safeway at 12251 Darnestown Road.

Police said the robber slid the teller a note and claimed he had a gun.

Police described the robber as a white male, between 5-feet 6-inches and 5-feet 8-inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds.  Police said he was wearing a black and gray jacket, a black and white ski hat, and gloves.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this robbery to call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or leave a Crime Solvers tip here.  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this felony crime.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
