Montgomery County Police: Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery at Lakeforest Mall, More

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village and their surrounding regions. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Bayridge Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 9:14 p.m.

A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Chestnut Street in Gaithersburg on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 1:32 p.m.

An attempted strong-arm robbery occurred in the parking lot of Lakeforest Mall, 701 Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 8:42 p.m. Police said a the victim was assaulted.

A residential burglary occurred in the 18500 block of Boysenberry Drive in Montgomery Village on Monday, Dec. 2 between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A strong-arm robbery occurred near the intersection of Travis Avenue and Southern Night Lane in Gaithersburg on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 3:30 p.m. Police said the people involved knew each other.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 19400 block of Brassie Place in Gaithersburg on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 6:05 a.m. Police said the people involved knew each other. Arrested: Male, age 47, from Rockville

An aggravated assault occurred in the parking lot of the Village Café and Bar, 19230 Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village at around 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. Police said the people involved knew each other.

A residential burglary occurred in the 8200 block of Amity Circle in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Nov. 28 at 12:08 p.m.

A residential burglary occurred in the 18200 block of Mulberry Court in Gaithersburg on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 10:38 a.m.
