UPDATED: 7 Injured In Costco Parking Lot Collision

A three car collision in the upper parking lot of Costco in Gaithersburg injured seven people and sent six to local medical facilities.

Update (3:30 p.m.): Seven adults were injured in a three-car collision in the upper parking lot of Costco in Gaithersburg Thursday afternoon, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Capt. Oscar Garcia said.

Six of the adults, including at least one pedestrian, were sent to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Garcia said, adding one of the patient's injuries were considered serious.

Fire and rescue officials were dispatched to Costco, located at 880 Russell Avenue, shortly after 1 p.m., Garcia said.

Original Post (1:58 p.m.): A pedestrian is being transported to a nearby medical facility with non-life threatening injuries after being struck in a two-car collision near in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Capt. Oscar Garcia said.

Circumstances of the collision on the 800 block of Christopher Avenue are unkown and no other information is available at this time, Garcia said.
