Police: Montgomery Village Sunoco Robbed, Vehicle Theft in Kentlands

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A residential burglary occurred in the hundred block of Pontiac Way in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Nov. 7, between 7 and 8 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of Shadow Glen Court in Gaithersburg on Monday, Nov. 4 at 5:24 p.m. Forced entry; no further details are available at this time.

A residential burglary occurred in the 17200 block of King James Way in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 4:51 p.m. No further information is available at this time.

A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Bayridge Drive in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Nov. 7, between 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Bartlett Tree Experts, 1 Metropolitan Court in Gaithersburg between Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 7 at 5:36 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

There were three thefts from vehicles in this beat during this reporting period. All appeared to have no signs of force.

  • 600 block of Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Cash and credit cards taken.
  • 400 block of Tschiffely Square Road in Gaithersburg on Sunday, Nov. 10 around 2:15 p.m.  A 16-year-old boy from Gaithersburg and a 17-year-old boy from North Potomac were arrested in connection to this incident.
  • 100 block of Holmard Street in Gaithersburg on Friday, Nov. 8 between 6:40 a.m. and 10 a.m.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 400 block of Little Quarry Road in Gaithersburg between Monday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 12:15 p.m.

A vehicle theft occurred at the intersection of Kentlands Boulevard and Booth Street in Gaithersburg, between 6:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4 and  6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.

A vehicle theft occurred in the hundred block of Metropolitan Grove Road in Gaithersburg, between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 and 9:10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 16600 block of Raven Rock Drive in Gaithersburg on Friday, Nov. 8, between 7 a.m. and 5:51 p.m.  

A residential burglary occurred in the 9700 block of Lake Shore Drive in Montgomery Village on Thursday, Nov. 7, between 2 and 9:15 p.m. Unknown entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 19100 block of Rhodes Way in Montgomery Village, between 10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 and 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. Unknown entry; property taken.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 18800 block of Walkers Choice Road in Montgomery Village on Friday, Nov. 8 between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

An armed robbery occurred at the Sunoco Gas Station, 20050 Goshen Road in Montgomery Village on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 8:10 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. No further information is available at this time.

A residential burglary occurred in the 8500 block of Hawk Run Terrace in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8:52 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

Four thefts from vehicles were reported. Entry was not forced and assorted loose items of value left inside were taken. Streets affected included: Lions Crest Way, Sabbath Court, Knoll Mist Lane and Delcris Drive in Gaithersburg.

An armed robbery occurred in the area of Strawberry Knoll Drive and Bell Tower Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 9:35 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.  Police are looking for two males.  

A residential burglary occurred in the 18200 block of Swan Stream Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 3:23 p.m. No further information is available at this time.
