City Council To Tour Crown Farm Development Monday Evening

The regularly scheduled Gaithersburg mayor and city council meeting will not be held.

 

The Gaithersburg mayor and city council will venture outside the City Hall council chambers Monday evening instead of holding its regularly scheduled meeting.

Joined by city staff, media and public residents, members of the city council will take a bus tour of the Crown Farm Development, hosted by lead developer Sunbrook Partners, Inc.

The city released the following statement regarding this week's work session and the mayor and city council's upcoming schedule:

The Monday, July 23, 2012, work session will not convene at City Hall, but rather will be a bus tour of the Crown Farm Development hosted by Sunbrook Partners, Inc., with members of the City Council, Planning Commission, Senior Leadership Team, City staff, media and residents. The bus will leave City Hall at 6:15 p.m. Pre-registration was required and the bus is currently at full capacity.

The Mayor and City Council of Gaithersburg will conduct a work session at City Hall on Monday, July 30, 2012, 7:30 p.m. Representatives from the Montgomery County Public Schools will present an update on the plans for Gaithersburg area schools.

The next regular meeting will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012, 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.
