Public Input Sought on the City of Gaithersburg Strategic Plan

In advance of their annual planning retreat, the Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council is inviting public input on the Strategic Plan.  Comment will be accepted during the Mayor and City Council Work Session on Monday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 31 South Summit Avenue.

Covering everything from transportation planning and public safety to recreation programs and economic development, Gaithersburg’s Strategic Plan helps each department focus resources and measure progress and effectiveness in all areas of operation.  Throughout the year the Mayor and Council receive regular updates on items outlined in the plan.

The annual planning retreat is scheduled for Monday, February 28 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Gaithersburg Upcounty Senior Center, 80A Bureau Drive.  It is open to the public.  Please note that public comment will not be taken during the retreat.
