Tip-A-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD)

The Gaithersburg Police Department and NIST Police Department will take part in a Tip-A-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD). Law enforcement officers and personnel will volunteer their time as “celebrity waiters” to collect tips. The fundraiser will take place Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lakeforest Red Robin at 701 Russell Avenue.
