GALLERY: National Night Out

Community members, local officials and police gathered to build stronger bonds.

Last night at seven venues across the city, neighbors, police and local officials gathered to celebrate National Night Out.

The program aims at strengthening the bonds that keep neighborhoods safe.

Gaithersburg Police Chief Mark P. Sroka joined Mayor Sidney Katz and Council members Cathy Drzyzgula, Mike Sesma and Ryan Spiegel at Antojitos Restaurant to kick off the evening.

They then traveled to six other locations—Saybrooke, Hyde Park, Quince Orchard Park, the Kentlands, Orchard Ponds and Brighton Village Apartments—to round out the evening.
