Report: 1 Gaithersburg ICC Bus Route Safe From Cuts
Bus Route 202 from Gaithersburg to Fort Meade safe, but another will be cut, according to numerous media reports.
Commuters riding the Intercounty Connector Route 202 bus from Gaithersburg to Fort Meade will not need to find new means of transportation, according to numerous media reports.
The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) announced the decision Wednesday not to eliminate the route, according to WTOP.
However, the Route 205 bus from College Park to the Shady Grove Life Sciences Center in Gaithersburg will be cut on Aug. 1, according to the report.
MTA officials were considering the cuts based on low ridership numbers, Gaithersburg Patch reported.
