University MD College Access Conference

The University of Maryland is excited to host a FREE College Access Conference on Saturday June 25th from 8am – 3pm in the Stamp Student Union.  It is for underrepresented and first generation students in grades 10 and 11 as they prepare to navigate the college admissions process.  Sessions will provide valuable information on topics such as choosing a career, the application process, tips on writing a college essay, how to get involved on campus, parenting a new college student, and merit scholarships and financial aid.  The day will also include a luncheon featuring a student panel and an academic information fair with representatives from the university academic schools and colleges.
