2nd Annual Gaithersburg Police Foundation Bowling Challenge Fundraiser

The Gaithersburg Police Foundation is hosting a bowling challenge fundraising event at Bowl America, 1101 Clopper Road in Gaithersburg on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Community members are invited to form 4-member teams, and can either challenge other community members or be matched up with another team by Bowl America to compete in a 3-game match.  All bowlers are asked to secure sponsors for their efforts.  Participants will be able to bowl the three games for free, including free shoe rentals, provided they bring in sponsorships totaling $35 or more per participant for individual teams ($140 total per team) and $100 or more per participant for corporate teams ($400 total per team).

Some of the “challengers” already lined up include Bowl America youth league and adult league members, Gaithersburg Police Foundation members and Gaithersburg Police Department staff.  There is opportunity for up to 48 teams to participate.  To participate in this bowling challenge, please contact Jackie Sewell at Bowl America, 301-330-5200.
