Gaithersburg High School's varsity softball team was eliminated by Magruder, 2-1, in the MPSSAA 4A West region final, falling one win short of a berth in the state semifinals.

The team graduates a group of six seniors:

  • Ashlie DeCarlo - No. 8, Pitcher, Captain
  • Johanna Deguzman - No. 10, Second Base
  • Danielle Riley - No. 2, Shortstop, Captain
  • Alyssa Henry - No. 21, Second Base, Left Field, Center Field
  • Katie Stewart - No. 22, Right Field
  • Gaby Pascacio - No. 23, Catcher
