Active Aging Expo--A Tremendous Success!
On Monday, May 7th, Visiting Angels participated in the "Active Aging Expo" sponsored by the City of Gaithersburg.
On Monday, May 7th, Visiting Angels participated in the “Active Aging Expo” sponsored by the City of Gaithersburg. This Expo was a tremendous success! There were a myriad of vendors to address the needs of seniors.
Visiting Angels met hundreds of people of all ages. There were people interested in homecare for a loved one or for themselves. Many people had questions that were related to aging and our Sr. Gerontology Specialist was able to address their questions. We had fun activities as well. Our “No Place Like Home” game, where
everyone was a winner, was a crowd pleaser! We had many who play repeatedly to win their desired prize!

We were delighted to greet our Visiting Angels’ families as they enjoyed the Expo. There was something for everyone and we are delighted to have been just one of many fine vendors.
